Class of 2025
We are proud to celebrate these extraordinary educators who attended the Acoustics Pedagogy Workshop under the guidance of Kenneth Bozeman, Ian Howell, and Chadley Ballantyne.
With deep gratitude to our 2025 partners, Embodied Music Lab and Sempre, whose generosity made this inaugural class possible.

Amir discovered classical singing at 26 and, with no formal academic voice programs available to him, built his knowledge through books, science, and sheer dedication. Today he teaches a growing community of singers and emerging voice teachers, and founded the H. Vocal Ensembles to create a space where singers can perform, grow, and belong. He is quietly working toward a future where access to quality vocal education is a possibility for all.

Dr. Angelique Clay is a soprano heralded for her soaring lyric voice, with performances across the US, Europe, and South America. An Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky, she has nurtured students who now grace the stages of the Metropolitan Opera, Santa Fe Opera, and beyond. She is also working on a recording project celebrating art songs by African-American women composers — a labor of love and legacy.

Based in Bukidnon in the Philippines, Azarmabeth has been helping singers grow and thrive for over 17 years. Her studio is a place where singers of all backgrounds are welcomed exactly as they are — and gently encouraged to find their most authentic voice. Deeply inspired by Leon Thurman's philosophy, she believes that great singing starts with feeling safe, seen, and supported.

Brandon has known since childhood that his calling was to help others grow. He owns The Studio in Alabama, where he teaches musical theatre, classical, and contemporary voice — and he is the first voice teacher in Alabama to earn the PAVA-RV Recognized Vocologist distinction. He also volunteers as founder and director of the Joyful Jubilee Senior Choir for adults 55+, because he believes the gift of singing belongs to everyone, at every age.

Gal is a vocal coach, singer, and actress who brings both science and soul into her teaching. With eight years of experience working with singers and actors of all levels, she creates a studio environment where students feel brave enough to take creative risks and grow into their fullest expression. As an active performer herself, she leads by example — and understands from the inside what the performing life really asks of you.

Jasmine grew up singing across genres — bluegrass, jazz, classical — and that wide-open musical life shaped the teacher she became. Now based in Kentucky with 15+ years of experience, she is passionate about setting every singer up with a healthy, grounded instrument that will last a lifetime, in any genre they choose. She has taught at universities including Belmont and East Tennessee State, and her continued education spans vocology, somatic education, yoga, and trauma-informed teaching.

Karina grew up singing in choirs in Córdoba, Argentina, and has built a rich life as a soprano, educator, and scholar. A member of the Lyric Choir of the Province of Córdoba since 2005, she has performed everything from Mozart to Berlioz on major stages, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Arts. She brings that same depth of experience — both on stage and in the classroom — to every singer she works with.

Natalia is an Argentine singer, teacher, and choir conductor whose work spans classical performance, Latin American popular music, and vocal scholarship. She is one of the compilers of the first vocology glossary ever published in Spanish — a landmark contribution to the Spanish-speaking voice community. Since 2010 she has run her own studio, NGC Estudio de Canto, and is a proud member of the Pan-American Vocology Association.
